Best Vacation Spots on the West Coast

There are countless remarkable destinations to visit on the West Coast, but it is unlikely to get to them all. It is time you narrow down the places that are ideal and fulfilling. The West Coast has a little bit of everything, including amazing national parks, glamorous cities, sprawling coastlines, or sky-high mountains. It is somewhere people always find themselves venturing back to, and is worth the journey.

Las Vegas, Nevada

Do not let Las Vegas’s nickname “Sin City” sway you from traveling there. It is one of the most vibrant, glitzy cities in the United States and has the best nightlife, cuisine, and entertainment. It has mild to warm temperatures throughout the winter, where you can still enjoy its outdoor beauties. This ultimate playground attracts people from around the world, people who know you cannot enjoy the Las Vegas Strip anywhere else. Once you see its unique and thriving attributes, know that there are Las Vegas houses for sale just waiting for you.

San Francisco, California

San Francisco has a fascinating history, great weather, and some of the best attractions. Whether it is Alcatraz Island, the iconic Chinatown, Golden Gate Bridge, Palace of Fine Arts, there is always someplace to go. Feel free to hop one of its historic cable cars to get from one place to another, maybe even stop by to walk Lombard Street, Ghirardelli Square or Fisherman’s Wharf. It is not every day you can explore a city built on hills and beside some of the prettiest waters.

Napa Valley, California

Napa Valley is a perfect destination for a little bit of relaxation, wine, food, and down to earth adventures. It is a place to lose all your worries while creating positive memories. There are boutique wineries, spas, world-renowned restaurants, vineyards with incomparable views, and hot air balloon rides at sunrise. Any time of the year you visit, you will not be disappointed with the outcome.

Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, Alaska

Although Alaska is not a part of America’s regional west coast, it is still included because you cannot have a more scenic destination. It is highly recommended to get to Alaska at least once in your life to see its jaw-dropping nature. Glacier Bay National Park has snow-capped mountains, emerald-green forests, unique wildlife, and resilient glaciers. You cannot experience this scenery anywhere else on the continent.

Yosemite National Park, California

Yosemite has about 1,200 square miles of protected land in northern California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is a hotspot for adventurers where you can easily find waterfalls, meadows, granite cliffs, giant sequoia trees, and even glaciers. Countless outdoor activities are available in the summer or winter, from easy to extreme. The park is also home to animals like the coyote, river otter, fox, bobcat, bear, and numerous bird species. Yosemite is a photogenic outdoor paradise.

With everything and more to offer, the West Coast contains vastly different yet all amazing destinations to travel. There are endless opportunities to find adventures of a lifetime wherever you choose to go.
